HEEEELP! Global Menu on Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy Heron)?

I used this guide - a href="http://maketecheasier.com/turn-your-ubuntu-hardy-to-mac-osx-leopard/2008/07/23" rel="nofollow"http://maketecheasier.com/turn-your-ubun…/a , and everything went fine until the global menu thing for Ubuntu. I'm trying to make it look like Mac OSX, but installing the global menu thing always gives me dependency errors, and then when i boot up my machine, it just creates so many error messages. I cant access any applications, and i have no control over the machine besides shutting it down or restarting.
