This question really has nothing to do with the equation that you are given. You simply multiply the atomic m of C8H18 by 10. This then gives you 1140g which is converted into 1.14kg. Mols of a substance are essentially talking about how much of it you have, so if you have 10 mols you have ten times the atomic m.
